Type notes: 1) Roger, 1862c: 288, indicates that the original type material consists of 2 queens. 2) According to Zimsen, 1964: 424, there are 2 specimens in ZMUC, 1 in ZMUK. 3) Original type locality data: none given: “Habitat in America meridionali Dom.
