Etymology |
The species name tumucumaquensis is masculine and a Latin singular adjective in the Nominative, paying homage to the Tumucumaque Mountains National Park (PNMT), type locality and protection area named after the Tumuc-Humac mountain range in the states of Pará and Amapá. The PNMT is Brazil’s largest national park and one of the world’s largest protected tropical forests. |
