Primary type locality: Mexico: Chiapas, Simojovel, Montecristo mine, 17°09’11’’N, 92° 46’08’’W; amber inclusion from upper strata of the Simojovel Formation at the late Oligocene and early Miocene boundaries. Primary type depository: CPAL-UAEM. Primary type specimen: CPAL.449.
