Anillomyrma tridens Bolton, 1987: 274, figs. 1, 4 (w.) BORNEO (East Malaysia: Sarawak). Indomalaya.

Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Malaysia: Sarawak, 4th Division, Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, (RGS Expd.), Long Pala, 11.x.1977, lowland rainforest in sandy soil (B. Bolton). Primary type depository: BMNH. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 39 paratype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: BBRC, BMNH, KEPC, MCZC, MHNG, NHMB. Type notes: Many more preserved in ethanol in BBRC.

Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 63; Eguchi et al., 2010: 36 (redescription); Pfeiffer et al., 2011: 44.
