Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: South Australia, Adelaide, Mt Lofty, 1913 (F. Silvestri). Primary type depositories: MHNG, MNHN, MSNG. Type notes: 1) Shattuck, 1994: 5, cites 1 worker syntype in MHNG. 2) MNHN implied as original description says “Museo di Parigi” (= Paris Museum).
