Primary type information: Primary type material: 20 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Argentina: La Plata (C. Bruch). Primary type depositories: LACM, NHMB, SIZK, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Kostyuk, 1976: 99, cites 1 worker syntype in SIZK. 2) Borgmeier had 1 worker type in his collection. This specimen was loaned to Weber and recently found at USNM. Following Weber's death, the specimen was incorporated into MCZC, and posteriorly loaned to USNM. Both institutions, agreed on return this specimen to MZSP, where the Borgmeier's collection is deposited.
