Primary type information: Primary type material: 22 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Mexico: Nayarit, Santiago Ixtquintla (= Ixcuintla), x.-xi.1894 (G. Eisen & Vaslit). Primary type depositories: CASC, LACM, USNM. Type notes: 1) Shattuck, 1994: 17, cites 15 worker syntypes (4 in CASC, 2 in LACM, 9 in USNM). 2) Shattuck, 1994's published count (same page) of 31w syntypes is probably a misprint as the original description states “Twenty-two specimens”.
