Secondary type locality: paralectotypes: with same data as lectotype, Queensland, Malanda (E. Mjöberg), Queensland, Herberton (E. Mjöberg). Secondary type depositories: ANIC, MHNG (perhaps also NHRS). Type notes: 1) Original data: syntype major and minor workers, syntype ‘pseudogyne’, syntype males (numbers not stated). 2) Taylor, 1991b: 607, cites 5 major worker, 3 minor worker, 2 queen, 1 male syntypes (2s in ANIC, 3s, 3w, 2q, 1m in MHNG). 3) Queens are not mentioned in the original description, only a ‘pseudogyne’.
