Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Saudi Arabia: Al Kola, semi cultivated area, 10.iv.1983 (C.A. Collingwood). Primary type depository: WMLC. Primary type specimen: CASENT0922314. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 11 paratype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Type notes: In the original description Collingwood, 1985 states that type material is in BMNH (paratypes) and NHMB (holotype + paratypes); however, the only known extant specimen is the holotype, in WMLC (Sharaf et al., 2018: 219).
