Primary type locality: 3 workers South Africa: Cape of Good Hope Prov., Herschell Distr., Majuba Neck, vii.1916 (ex coll. Albany Museum) (J. Hepburn), 2 workers from same locality but (G. Arnold). Primary type depository: NHMB. Primary type specimen: CASENT0911276. Type notes: Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 65, cites 5 worker syntypes in NHMB.
