Dorylus (Anomma) titan var. vinalli Santschi, 1933b: 97 (w.) Date of publication 30.iii.1933. DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO. Afrotropic.

Primary type information: Primary type material: 4 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Democratic Republic of the Congo (“Congo belge”): Haut Congo, Basankusu, Bongandanga, 9.i.1932 (G. Vinall) (received from Donisthorpe). Primary type depository: NHMB (perhaps also BMNH). Primary type specimen: CASENT0911322. Type notes: 1) 4 workers cited in original description. 2) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 62, cites 12 worker syntypes in NHMB; these probably include specimens from a second sending by Vinall, 24.vii.1932, reported by Poulton, 1933: 58.
