Primary type locality: Australia: N Queensland, Atherton Tableland, Crawford’s Lookout, Beatrice River, on Millaa-Millaa-Innisfail Highway, ii.1958 (P.F. Darlington). Primary type depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 9 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen. Secondary type localities: 8 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen with same data as holotype, 1 paratype worker (“one of several collected”) Queensland, nr Brisbane, Mt Coot-tha, 20.xii.1956, in soil (B.B. Lowery). Secondary type depositories: ANIC, MCZC, MZSP.
