Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Brazil: (no further data). Primary type depository: MZSP (MZSP0083453). Type notes: 1) In the original publication, Borgmeier informs that the holotype is “apparently from Mato Grosso”. 2) The holotype has a label indicating "Coll Borgmeier 463". The Borgmeier's catalog entry 463 informs: "Brasil, sem procedência (Rio?)".
