Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Australia: South Australia, Musgrave Ranges, Flat Rock Hole, 1914, (Everard & Musgrave Ranges Expd.) (S.A. White). Primary type depository: SAMA. Type notes: 1) Shattuck, 1994: 103, and Shattuck, 1996a: 39, cite a holotype worker (SAMA). 2) Confusingly, Heterick & Shattuck, 2011: 75, cite holotype + 1 paratype worker (ANIC, MCZC). 3) In the original description Wheeler, 1915h: 811, stated “a single worker”, therefore the “types” in ANIC and MCZC are spurious.
