Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers, syntype queens (numbers not stated, “several small nests”). Primary type locality: Australia: Victoria, Otway Ranges, Beech Forest, (“Turton’s Track, nr Mt Sabine (1812 ft)”), i.1932 (J. Clark). Primary type depositories: ANIC, MVMA. Type notes: Shattuck, 1994: 112, cites holotype worker, 17 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens, but Clark, 1934c did not designate a holotype.
