Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) worker. Primary type locality: Peru: Cumbase (no collector’s name). Primary type depository: MSNG. Type notes: 1) No indication of number of specimens is given. 2) Brandão, 1990b: 436, gives the type locality as “probably San Antonio de Cumbasa, San Martin, Peru”.
