Primary type information: Primary type material: 2 syntype workers. Primary type locality: Argentina: Misiones, Loreto, no. 2046 (A.A. Ogloblin). Primary type depository: NHMB. Type notes: Brandão, 1990b: 444, cites 3 worker syntypes in IMLT, and 1 worker syntype in MZSP, but Santschi, 1936d originally stated only “2 ouvrières”.
