Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: Western Australia, NE from Albany, Stat. 164, 1905 (W. Michaelsen & R. Hartmeyer). Primary type depositories: ANIC, MCZC, MHNG, NHMB (perhaps also MVMA). Primary type specimen: CASENT0907087. Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1973b: 125, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB. 2) Clark, 1943: 112, says he redescribed the worker from a cotype “received from the late Dr. Michaelsen”.
