Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Indonesia: SE Kalimantan, 17-46 km. W Batulitjin, 28.vi.-2.vii.1972, B-18 (W.L. Brown). Primary type depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 6 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: BMNH, MCZC.
