Primary type locality: Venezuela: on orchids (no further data) (intercepted by U.S. Plant Quarantine, Hoboken, New Jersey, 12.v.1954). Primary type depository: USNM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 5 paratype workers, 3 paratype queens. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: MZSP, USNM.
