Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Australia: Queensland, Eungella Nat. Park, ca 3 km. S of Eungella (28°21’S, 153°19’E), ca 780 m., 2.v.1973, on ground at night (R.W. Taylor). Primary type depository: ANIC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 14 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens. Secondary type locality: same data as holotype but ex Berlese samples of leaf mould, 26.iii.1975, and 12.ix.1975. Secondary type depositories: ANIC, BMNH, MCZC, MHNG, QMBA, SAMA.
