Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Australia: Western Australia, Manjimup, no. 459 (J. Clark). Primary type depositories: NHMB, OXUM (perhaps also MVMA). Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1973b: 129, cites 1 worker syntype in NHMB. 2) Clark, 1936: 72, cites Ludlow as type locality, saying that the “original locality given by Crawley, 1925b as Manjimup is an error, probably owing to misplaced labels”. 3) Clark, 1936: 72, says he redescribed this taxon from a cotype.
