Secondary type locality: same as for holotype (in same piece of amber). Secondary type depository: collection of Mr and Mrs Frey, Mountainside, New Jersey. Type notes: The designation of a neotype by Grimaldi et al., 1997: 12, appears to be redundant as Wilson et al., 1967: 8, 9, describe a paratype worker, which should have become the lectotype following the destruction of the original holotype.
