Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Japan: Kanagawa Pref., Cape Manazuru, 13.xii.1981 (K. Masuko). Primary type depository: OMNH. Primary type specimen: OMNH TI 102. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 5 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen. Secondary type locality: 4 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen with same data as holotype, 1 paratype worker with same data as holotype but 19.ix.1982. Secondary type depositories: OMNH, OUOJ.
