Type notes: 1) Forel, 1913l comments that the workers and males were found together. 2) Shattuck, 1994: 160, cites 25 worker, 3 male syntypes in MHNG. 3) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 99, cites 3 worker ‘syntypes’ in NHMB from Sumatra, Bandar Beroe; these are mentioned by Forel, 1913l: 99 (in text) but are not type material.
