Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Schlick-Steiner et al., 2006: 270). Primary type locality: neotype Belgium: Mirwart, vic. Saint-Hubert, 360 m., 4.viii.2000, # i73 (Y. Roisin). Primary type depository: NHMW (neotype). Type notes: 1) Original type data: syntype workers (number not stated), Germany: Lousberg, nr Aachen, iv. (A. Foerster). 2) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 78, Foerster’s formicid types are in MNHU, but Seifert & Schultz, 2009b: 271, state that “According to our own search in German collections type material of Förster is completely destroyed”. 3) 7 workers from the same series as the neotype are in BFPC, NHMW, SMNG.
