Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype soldier. Primary type locality: Mexico: (no further data) (in the collection of W. Wilson Saunders, Esq.). Primary type depository: OXUM. Type notes: De Andrade & Baroni Urbani, 1999: 410, cite “two possible syntypes (almost certainly from the same series)” in NHMW; but Smith’s statement that type-material is in the Saunders collection (OXUM) renders this very improbable.
