Primary type locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): nr junction of Oronque and New Rivers, Courantyne basin, 1.viii.1936, from stomach of Typhlops reticulatus (L.) (N.A. Weber). Primary type depositories: AMNH, MZSP (perhaps also MCZC).
