Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype male. Primary type locality: Bolivia et Pérou [Peru], Cailorna. Primary type depository: MZSP. Primary type specimen: 1 disarticulated male on three pins (MZSP0082409, MZSP0082410, MZSP0082411). Type notes: 1) This taxon is based on Neivamyrmex dorbignii Shuckard, 1840b, sensu Emery, 1900e: 177, misidentification. 2) Cailorna probably refers to Caylloma province, Peru (Mônica Antunes Ulysséa). 3) MZSP houses syntypes from Peru (Mônica Antunes Ulysséa). 4) Bolton cites depository as MSNG.
