Type notes: 1) Seifert et al., 2024 also record additional males, queens and workers from the same nest as the neotype. 2) Original type data: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Italy: Sardinia (A.H. Krausse-Heldrungen). Primary type depository: unknown (perhaps MSNG); all specimens apparently lost.
