Primary type information: Primary type material: 2 syntype males. Primary type locality: Germany: Aachen (A. Foerster). Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: 1) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 78, Foerster’s formicid types are in MNHU, but Seifert & Schultz, 2009b: 271, state that “According to our own search in German collections type material of Förster is completely destroyed”. 2) Csősz et al., 2015: 40, add that the syntypes are “most probably lost”.
