The locality on their data discs is “Tond.” (= Tondano) whereas the type locality specified by Smith, 1861b is Manado; BMNH accessions register gives: “1860 no. 76 (Sept. 13). Celebes (Manado); purchased of Stevens, collected by A.R. Wallace” (Bolton (unpublished notes) 1978). |
