Dolichoderus pilinomas Dill, 2002: 56, figs. III-18, III-25, III-31 (w.q.m.) BORNEO (East Malaysia: Sarawak). Indomalaya.

Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Malaysia: Sarawak, 1st Division, Gua Kapur (Fairy Cave), 8 km. SW Bau, 1°22’N, 110°8’E, 15.vi.1994 (M. Dill). Primary type depository: BMNH. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 17 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen, 1 paratype male. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: BMNH, MCZC, NHMB, SMFM.

Status as species: Pfeiffer et al., 2011: 33.
