Primary type depository: USNM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 18 paralectotype workers, 2 paralectotype queens. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype. Secondary type depositories: MCZC, USNM. Type notes: 1) Number of syntypes not originally stated but Taylor, 1980b: 235, remarked that he examined 6 syntypes in MCZC, and 16 in USNM. 2) Taylor, 1980b also mentioned that a queen was present among the USNM syntypes (not mentioned in the original description). 3) Sarnat & Economo, 2012: 76, cite 18 worker, 2 queen paralectotypes (4w MCZC, 14w, 2q USNM).
