Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: China: Yunnan, Menghai County, Meng’a Town, Papo, 1280 m., 10.ix.1997, No. A97-2331, secondary monsoon evergreen broadleaf forest (Z. Xu). Type-depository: SFCY. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 7 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for holotype. Paratype-depository: SFCY.
