Primary type information: Primary type material: 18 syntype workers. Primary type locality: China: Soochow (N.G. Gee). Primary type depositories: AMNH, MCZC. Type notes: 1) Shattuck, 1994: 130, cites 6 worker syntypes in MCZC, 24 worker possible syntypes in AMNH. 2) Del Toro et al., 2009: 339, confusingly states “Type-material: 6 syntype workers; Lectotype worker (W.M. Wheeler); 1 Paralectotype worker examined: CHINA (MCZC)”. All cited material is therefore retained here as syntypes.
