Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Myanmar (“Burma”): Kambaiti Mts, 2000 m., 24.vi.1934 (R. Malaise). Primary type depository: NHRS. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 1 paratype queen. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depository: NHRS. Type notes: Collingwood gives the collection date as 24.vi.1934, but Radchenko & Elmes, 2010: 143, point out that the date on both the holotype and paratype labels is 15.iv.1934.
