Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype worker (by designation of Wang, 2003a: 459). Primary type localities: Papua New Guinea: Friedrich-Wilhelmshafen (= Madang), and Berlinhafen (= Aitepe) (L. Biró). Primary type depository: MSNG. Primary type specimen: CASENT0904696. Type notes: 1) Emery records syntypes from two localities, Wang includes both localities in his lectotype data. The original label of the lectotype specimen indicates that this specimen originates from Friedrich-Wilhelmshafen. 2) Other original syntypes probably in HNHM.
