Primary type information: Primary type material: 70 syntype workers, 2 syntype males. Primary type locality: 30 workers, 2 males Mauritius: Mt Cocotte, 27.xii.1941, no. 26 (R. Mamet), 40 workers same locality but 6.ii.1943, no. 6 (R. Mamet). Primary type depositories: BMNH, LACM, MCZC.
