Proceratium goliath Kempf & Brown, 1968: 94, figs. 1, 2 (w.) COSTA RICA. Neotropic.

Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Costa Rica: Limon Prov., 2 km. NW steel bridge over Rio Toro Amarillo, nr Gualipes, 3 and 4.iii.1966, rotten log (W.L. Brown). Type-depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 5 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for holotype. Paratype-depositories: CUIC, DZSP, MCZC, MZSP. Type notes: Collection data as published, but Baroni Urbani & de Andrade, 2003a: 111, record that dates on specimens are 25.ii.-9.iii.1966.
