Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: China: Yunnan Prov., Menghai County, Meng’a Town, Papo Village, 1280 m, 10.ix.1997, soil sample, deciduous broadleaf forest, No. A97-2338 (Z. Xu). Type-depository: SFCY. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 6 paratype workers, 24 paratype queens. Paratype-locality: 1 paratype worker with same data as holotype, 5 paratype workers, 24 paratype queens with same data as holotype but No. A97-2380. Paratype-depositories: CASC, SFCY. Paratype-specimens: CASENT0235334 (CASC), CASENT0790671 (SFCY).
