Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: Kazakhstan: vostochny otrogi Karatau, steppe, no. 48, 13.vi.1979 (S. Bursakov). Primary type depository: SIZK. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 9 paratype workers, 8 paratype queens, 9 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: SIZK, ZMUM.

Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 405.
