Tetramorium taurocaucasicum Arnol'di, 1968b: 1813, fig. 12 (w.q.m.) UKRAINE (Crimea). Palearctic.

Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Ukraine: Crimea, Gurzuf, 16.vi.1948 (L.V. Arnol’di). Primary type depository: ZMUM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 14 paratype workers, 4 paratype queens, 3 paratype males (numbers from Csősz et al., 2007: 18). Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depository: ZMUM.

Status as species: Arnol'di & Dlussky, 1978: 545 (in key); Collingwood & Heatwole, 2002: 10.
