Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Iran (“Persia”): quarry nr Douchat-abad, 4 km. S Tehran, 23.ix.1916 (Bocquillon). Primary type depositories: IZTG, NHMB, NMAS. Type notes: 1) Martynov & Radchenko, 2016: 248, cite 3 worker syntypes in NMAS. 2) The designation of a neotype by Radchenko, 1997e: 434 (Iran: Tehran (ZISP)), is redundant. He says “syntypes lost” (from SIZK), but Santschi, 1929b: 49, cites 2 worker syntypes in NHMB, and in the original description Karavaiev, 1924 also cites syntypes in IZTG.
