Primary type information: Primary type material: 1 syntype worker, 1 syntype queen. Primary type locality: Australia: Victoria, Otway Ranges, Beech Forest, (“Turton’s Track, nr Mt Sabine (1812 ft)”), 11-19.i.1932 (J. Clark). Primary type depository: MVMA. Type notes: Heterick, 2001: 438, comments that the syntype worker is missing from the collection.
