Cardiocondyla elegans var. dalmatica Soudek, 1925a: 34 (w.) MONTENEGRO. Palearctic.

Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype worker (by designation of Seifert, 2023b: 29). Primary type locality: lectotype Montenegro: Gulf of Kotor (Boce Kotorské), Erceg Novi (Castelnuovo), Igalo, vii.1922 (S. Soudek). Primary type depository: MIZW (lectotype). Type notes: 1) Original description: syntype workers (number not stated, “one colony”). 2) Other syntypes are also in Soudek personal collection in MIZW (Radchenko, 1995g: 449). 3) Bezdĕčková et al., 2017 do not cite any type-material of this taxon in MHJC, MMBC, NHMP.
