Primary type information: Primary type material: 11 syntype major and minor workers. Primary type locality: Congo (“French Congo”): Fort Crampel, 6.i.1911 (Schubotz). Primary type depository: Zoological Museum Hamburg (Stitz, 1916: 371). Type notes: Hamburg zoological museum was destroyed in World War II; residual type-material perhaps MNHU or ZMUH.
