Primary type information: Primary type material: 6 syntype minor workers, 5 syntype males. Primary type locality: Ecuador: Galapagos Is, James I. (= Santiago I.), 5.iv.1923 (no collector’s name; “some of the members of the expedition”). Primary type depository: MCZC.
