Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Cameroon: near Lac Tissongo, Douala-Edea Reserve, 3°29’N, 9°50’E, 5 km. S Sanaga River, 15 km. E Mouanko, 18.vii.1976 (D. McKey). Primary type depository: LACM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 135 paratype workers, 20 paratype queens, 7 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: CASC, BMNH, DMPC, LACM, MCZC. Secondary type specimens: CASENT0217829, CASENT0217830, CASENT0900266.
