Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Johnson & Cover, 2015: 239). Type-locality: lectotype Haiti: about one half-mile E Manneville, trail from Manneville to Dominican border, 1912-13 (W.M. Mann). Type-depository: LACM. Type-specimen: lectotype LACMENT181990. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 24 paralectotype workers, 2 paralectotype males. Paratype-locality: same as for lectotype. Paratype-depositories: AMNH, LACM, MCZC, MHNG, USNM.
